Arrival in Errachidia (02:00 AM)
Upon your arrival at Errachidia Airport at 02:00 AM, our professional 4x4 driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit.
Transfer to Ziz Valley – Panoramic Views
After meeting your driver, you will start your journey toward the Ziz Valley. Enjoy a panoramic stop to admire the beautiful views of the valley and its lush palm groves.
Continue to Erfoud – The Gateway to the Desert
We then continue to the town of Erfoud, famous as the “Door of the Desert.” After a short visit, we continue towards Merzouga.
From Erfoud, it takes about 30 minutes to reach the Merzouga Desert.
Arrival in Merzouga – Lunch & Rest
Once in Merzouga, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to relax before starting your desert adventure.
Merzouga → Erg Chebbi (Camel Trek)
Around 5:30 PM, you will meet your camel guide. Your camel will take you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi on a 1-hour camel ride to the Berber nomad camp.
Desert Camp – Dinner & Berber Music
Upon arrival at the camp, you will be welcomed with mint tea, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner.
Enjoy an evening of Berber music around the campfire under a starry desert sky.
Sunrise Over the Dunes
Early in the morning, we recommend climbing the big dune near the camp to watch a breathtaking Sahara sunrise.

Once you are in the middle of the desert, it is truly worth waking up early to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises you will ever see. Climb to the top of a nearby dune and enjoy this breathtaking natural scenery—an unforgettable gift from nature.
Breakfast & Camel Return to Merzouga
After enjoying the sunrise, a generous traditional Moroccan breakfast awaits you at the camp.
We then return to Merzouga by camel, enjoying the peaceful beauty of the dunes.
4x4 Desert Excursion Around Erg Chebbi
After arriving in Merzouga, your driver will take you on a 4x4 journey around Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s largest expanses of desert dunes. Here you will see the Great Dune of Morocco, which rises more than 250 meters high.
We then follow the old track used during the legendary Paris–Dakar Rally, leading towards the mountains near the Algerian border.
Along the way, we will visit:

Meet desert nomads living in traditional tents and learn about their lifestyle, culture, and traditions.
- Khamlia Village (Gnaoua Musicians)
Enjoy the rhythms of Africa with a live performance from the Gnaoua musicians, famous for their spiritual music and warm hospitality.
- Oulad Abdoulhalim Kasbah
Visit the historic kasbah known for its unique architecture and cultural heritage.
- Ziz Valley Viewpoint
See the Ziz Valley, famous for its endless palm groves—one of the largest date-producing areas in Africa.

Start your day early with one of the most majestic sunrises in the desert.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey to the sacred city of Rissani, the historic birthplace of the Alawite dynasty.
Rissani – Authentic Market & Historic Sites
Rissani will captivate you with its traditional artisan market, its beautiful ksour (fortified villages), and its unique Sahrawi desert atmosphere.
During our guided visit, we explore:
- Alaouite Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif
The spiritual and historical landmark dedicated to the founder of the Alawite dynasty.
- Rissani Souk (Traditional Market)
One of the most authentic markets in Morocco, famous for spices, crafts, silver jewelry, dates, carpets, and desert goods. Perfect for an atmospheric shopping walk.
- Historic Ksour of Rissani
Explore the ancient fortified villages that reflect centuries of desert architecture and culture.
12:00 – Lunch in Rissani
Enjoy a traditional lunch in Rissani, with local specialties such as madfouna (“Berber pizza”) or tagine.
Erfoud – Fossil Workshop Visit
After lunch, we drive to Erfoud, known worldwide for its fascinating fossils.
You will visit a fossil workshop to discover how these ancient treasures are extracted and transformed into beautiful decorative pieces.
Transfer to Errachidia Airport
Following the visit, we continue the journey back to Errachidia Airport for your scheduled departure.
